FEP prepara-se para receber os novos estudantes
|
É já na próxima semana que a FEP recebe os seus novos estudantes. Este ano o acolhimento dos estudantes faz-se presencialmente, na semana de 12 a 16 de setembro. A FEP vai promover um conjunto de atividades de integração, que incluem o conhecimento da Faculdade, de colegas e Professores, com destaque para o FEP Welcome Fest, que, no dia 13 de setembro, irá reunir toda a comunidade. |

Next week FEP receives its new students. This year, students will be welcomed in person, during the week of September 12th to 16th. FEP will promote a set of integration activities, which include getting to know the School, colleagues and Professors, highlighting the FEP Welcome Fest, which, on September 13, will gather the whole community. |

The article Extending the Theory of Planned Behaviour to understand the effects of barriers towards sustainable fashion consumption, written by Professor Amélia Brandão and Ana Gonçalves da Costa, who holds a Master in Management degree by FEP, was distinguished as Outstanding Paper by Emerald Publishing, European Business Review - Literati Award Winners 2022. The award is delivered annually, based on criteria such as research impact, scientific rigour, relevance for practice and future research, presentation and structure. |

FEP lança curso sobre políticas de desenvolvimento local e regional na produção audiovisual
|
Abordar as políticas de desenvolvimento local e regional, explorando o seu papel (e as oportunidades criadas) na promoção e o apoio à produção de cinema e audiovisual é o objetivo do mais recente curso da FEP. Com candidaturas abertas até 16 de setembro, esta formação responde às possibilidades abertas pelas recentes mudanças na política audiovisual em Portugal, dirigindo-se especialmente a profissionais envolvidos ou interessados em políticas públicas nos domínios da cultura e do audiovisual, assim como a estudantes (pós-graduados). Com coordenação técnica da Professora da FEP Helena Santos
e de Nuno Fonseca, a formação é financiada pelos fundos do programa «Next Generation EU» do Plano de Recuperação e Resiliência (PRR), através do «Programa de Formação Multidisciplinar da U.Porto – Impulso Jovens STEAM & Impulso Adultos». |

FEP hosts course on regional and local development policies in audiovisual production
|
Addressing local and regional development policies, exploring their role (and the opportunities created) in the promotion and support of cinema and audiovisual production is the aim of FEP's latest course. With applications open until September 16th, this course responds to the possibilities opened by the recent changes in the audiovisual policy in Portugal. It is especially addressed to professionals involved or interested in public policies in the fields of culture and audiovisual, as well as (post-graduate) students. With the technical coordination of FEP's Professor Helena Santos and Nuno Fonseca, the course is financed by funds from the "Next Generation EU" programme of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), through the "U.Porto Multidisciplinary Training Programme - Impulso Jovens STEAM & Impulso Adults". |

The School aims to develop, transmit and value knowledge in economics and management, within its mission and assignments. FEP develops, in connection with the economic and social environment, a wide range of activities that aim to strengthen the multidisciplinary nature of teaching, as well as to create opportunities for joining curricular and extracurricular activities, which provide direct contact with the job market and ensure training in personal and soft skills. Furthermore, it establishes collaborations with other schools, companies and organizations related to the areas of its activity, among others contents. This newsletter is engaged in the mission and strategic goals, by intervention areas, which stem from the School’s attributions, being part of the University of Porto. |
