Micro-credentials

In 2022, the European Union Council recommended a European approach to micro-credentials in lifelong learning and employability. However, its use is broad and non-standardized. Usually associated with the certification of short-term training courses, how can these micro-credentials be used in a Higher Education Setting? What are its advantages and challenges?
