The POLEN DataHub is now available to the national scientific community. This repository provides dedicated areas for the sharing and preservation of research data considered relevant and with replication potential. More information here.

In order to facilitate compliance with the Open Access Policy for Scientific Publications, the platform brings together guidelines, a practical guide and clarifications applicable to different types of publications. More information here.

Twinning

Funding to strengthen scientific excellence and research capacities in institutions from Widening countries, through strategic partnerships with high-level research or higher education institutions in the EU and associated countries. Projects may have a maximum duration of 36 months and funding of up to €1.5 million.

To support integrated business research, development and innovation operations, in co-promotion with Universities, aimed at the development and manufacturing of critical technologies and/or the strengthening of value chains in the sectors of digital technologies, deep tech and biotechnologies. Conecta Call of the “la Caixa” Social Observatory

Funds applied research projects on social needs and evaluation of interventions in Portugal, developed by teams that include academic institutions and organisations from the social sector or public administration. For projects with a maximum duration of 24 months and funding of up to €100,000 per project.

Cancer Mission Calls 2026

A total of 7 calls dedicated to the Cancer Mission, with a global budget of approximately €124.19 million. The funded projects, with a maximum duration of 48 months, must contribute to the following topics: increasing the quality of life of cancer patients, virtual models, mental health and immunotherapy clinical trials, among others.
