The annual edition of the ICDT projects and exploratory projects (PeX) calls in October 2025 are confirmed, both very sought after by the scientific community. FCT has published the opening notice for the 2025 Call for PhD Research Studentships in all Scientific Fields. Application submissions are open from 17 March to 16 April and 1,550 studentships are expected to be awarded. More information here. |

5th EU-LAC Joint Call in STI 2025 | With the aim of promoting sustainable cooperation between Europe, Latin America, and the Caribbean, the call intends to fund transnational research and innovation projects in the areas of Bioeconomy, Energy, and Open Science. MSCA Staff Exchanges 2025 | Support for short-term (maximum 12 months) international and intersectoral exchanges between academic and non-academic organisations (including SMEs) to promote collaboration in research and innovation.
