Open until 4 September, this call supports the inclusion of entities based in a Widening Country (Portugal included) in any recently approved Horizon Europe project within the clusters of Pillar 2 or the EIC Pathfinder. Proactively, an expression of interest and proposal should be sent to the coordinator of the respective project, as additional funding is available to support the integration of this new beneficiary into the project. National participation in Horizon Europe between 2021 and 2024 has already surpassed the €1 billion mark in funding, exceeding the total received through the previous framework programme, Horizon 2020. Universities and R&D centres account for 62% of this amount. More information here. |
