FCT has published the final results of this process, which allocated overall funding for 2025–2029. The U.Porto research ecosystem now counts 45 recognised and funded R&D units under this process, 91% of which rated Very Good or Excellent, mobilising over €144 million in total funding for this period. FCT announced the provisional results of this competition, which will award a total of 1,550 fellowships nationwide. From a total of 770 applications, it is estimated that U.Porto faculties will host 297 new doctoral student fellows whose projects were recommended for funding. More information here. |

U.Porto's I&I ecosystem is involved in 29 of these entities (18.13%), represented across 5 different types, 9 technological domains, and 17 fields of application. More information here. |
