Rúben Pereira, from ICBAS/I3S, is the most recent recipient of this prestigious European research grant, which will enable the development of the FibroRevert project, aiming to reverse skin fibrosis using biomaterials and bioengineering platforms. More information here.

11th Edition of the Gilead GÉNESE Programme

With the aim of encouraging research, the production and sharing of scientific knowledge, and enabling initiatives that lead to the implementation of best practices in patient care, the 11th edition of the GILEAD Génese Programme is dedicated to the fields of Oncology and Virology.

2025 Call of the European Partnership Driving Urban Transitions (DUT)

This call, launched by the Driving Urban Transitions partnership, will support transnational R&D and innovation projects focusing on urban “transition pathways”: the 15-minute City, Circular Urban Economies and Positive Energy Districts. Consortia must include at least three entities from different countries, including one local or municipal authority.

6th Edition of the FCT Advanced Computing Project Call

This call provides machine time on the RNCA/CNCA platforms (HPC, AI and cloud) and accepts applications under four categories: A0 (experimental), A1 (development), A2 (regular) and A3 (large scale). Projects may run for a maximum of 6 to 12 months and can be extended up to 48 months in justified cases.

HERA EU4Health Programme Calls

In collaboration with the Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Authority (HERA), the EU4H programme has launched four calls addressing: detection and medicines against chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear threats; protective equipment; and diagnostic tests for vector-borne diseases. The total budget amounts to €30 million.
