The Individual CEEC is a funding instrument for supporting the hiring of researchers, created by FCT in 2017, following the publication of Decree-Law No. 57/2016, with the aim of stimulating scientific and technological employment across all areas of knowledge and, in doing so, contributing to the attraction and retention of qualified PhDs in the country, rejuvenating scientific institutions.

These results are an encouragement to consolidate U.Porto's strategy in enhancing knowledge and contributing to public policies in Portugal..
