Highlights

U.Porto has updated its Open Science Policy. This document outlines the activities of its students, faculty, researchers, and non-academic staff, as well as its research units, promoting scientific knowledge that is accessible and reusable. More information here.

FCT has announced the results of the PhD Grants 2024 programme, with U.Porto securing 343 grants, representing 23% of the national total. It is worth noting that 86 of these grants are from the 'non-academic environment' type, which highlights the synergies established between U.Porto and the business sector. More information here and here.

The Scientific Events Booklet was designed to support the U.Porto research ecosystem in organizing scientific events. This publication lists and describes the available venues, both within the U.Porto universe and, for large-scale events, in the Northern region. The Booklet is available here.
