FCT has announced the results of the PhD Grants 2024 programme, with U.Porto securing 343 grants, representing 23% of the national total. It is worth noting that 86 of these grants are from the 'non-academic environment' type, which highlights the synergies established between U.Porto and the business sector. Oncology Research Grants LPCC-NRN 2025 LPCC-NRN 2025 | With the aim of promoting oncology research, the Northern Regional Centre of the Portuguese League Against Cancer (LPCC) will award grants to Portuguese researchers without a state bond or employment contract. FCT MOBILITY Programme | In order to support medium/long-term stays, this programme funds the mobility of national post-doctoral researchers for fieldwork or research. SIID – Corporate R&D - Individual Operations or Co-Promotion – International Partnerships (Canada) | Aiming to promote collaboration between Portugal and Canada, this call supports co-promotion R&D projects in the fields of Space, Aeronautics, and Defence.
