Applications are now open for the 5th edition of U.Porto 3MT®, an academic competition aimed at U.Porto PhD students, who are challenged to present their research in a pitch lasting just 3 minutes to a non-specialist audience. Applications are open throughout December 2025. More information here. |

The new digital platform of the EUGLOH Alliance brings together academic and collaboration opportunities among the 9 partner universities. The platform facilitates the creation of international networks and partnerships, allowing students, teaching staff, researchers and technical staff to find and share events, internships, mobility opportunities, partner searches for proposal development, among others. ERA4Health European Partnership - PREVENT-OO Call | The PREVENT-OO call aims to fund transnational projects exploring the causes and prevention of overweight and obesity. Projects may focus on biological, environmental and lifestyle mechanisms, or on public health and prevention strategies. Consortia must include between 3 and 5 partners from at least three countries. la Caixa Health Promotion Research Call | This call aims to fund “applied research” that develops and evaluates evidence-based interventions for health promotion and disease prevention in areas such as mental health, women’s health, childhood/adolescence, nutrition and healthy lifestyles, healthy ageing, and chronic disease management. L’Oréal Portugal Medals of Honour for Women in Science - 2025 edition | This award supports advanced scientific research studies at postdoctoral level in the fields of Sciences, Engineering and Technologies for Health or the Environment. The funding amount is €15,000. Individual Call to Scientific Employment Stimulus - 8th Edition | This call aims to support PhD researchers who wish to carry out research in Portuguese institutions, regardless of nationality or scientific field.
